Northwinds was created by combining the excellence and expertise of HVAC and plumbing industry leaders, bringing together a family of locally-focused brands unified by a shared mission of delivering unparalleled service to residents and business across the U.S.

The platform started with the acquisition of Isaac Heating & Cooling, one of the nation’s largest HVAC companies which has been in operation for more than 75 years. They have since added a number of regional brands such as Arctic Bear, Nertherlings, Santa Fe Heating & Air, Thermal Heating, Air & Plumbing, and Wade Heating & Cooling.

The rebrand reflects an elevated organization with a team of leaders from the HVAC, plumbing, and service industries, centers of excellence to support the growth and operations of local brands, and enhanced resources to help companies grow and succeed. One such example is the 30,000 square foot Isaac University – a state-of-the art facility for HVAC technician training.
